When you travel to Bora Bora, you will have many top choices of resorts to choose from. Once you choose the resort, you will then have the option to choose a beachfront villa or an overwater bungalow. For me, going to Bora Bora and not staying in an overwater bungalow (at least for 1 night) is a crime, but to each his own. However, the breathtaking views presented by either choice makes your stay in Bora Bora well worth it.
As far as choosing the best resort, we have put together this list of our favorite Bora Bora Resorts to point you in the right direction. Obviously there are other great options as well, but these will hopefully help narrow down your choices.
The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort – Topping our list of resorts in the South Pacific is the St. Regis Bora Bora Resort. The attention to detail and the world class service and amenities here are beyond words. The on-site tropical pools and the private lagoon that allows you to swim along with stingrays and various tropical fish is a dream come true.
Le Meridien Bora Bora – Another fabulous resort in Bora Bora featuring 99 tropical style bungalows. One unique attraction found at this resort is the Turtle Sanctuary where you can not only see and learn about the Hawkbill Turtle, but you can swim alongside of them in the lagoon.
Sofitel Bora Bora Motu Private Island – This fine resort is positioned on Matira Bay and offers a private beach with beautiful white sand. Overlooking the ocean, you will find their infinity edge pool and an intimate spa that overlooks the lagoon, making for romantic couple’s dream getaway.
Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort And Spa - This resort is located on a private motu in a white sand cove within the lagoon. Not only are the amenities and service here top notch, if you are a member of Hilton’s HHonors program, you can earn more or use your points.
